Orio-Kukuarri path

This mountain route connects the centre of the village with the top of Mount Kukuarri. It is recommended to do it clockwise.

From the Main Square we go to the beach and here we take the path on the right to go up to Itxaspe farmhouse, we continue till the crossroad with the road Donostia-Igeldo-Orio. From here we take the path that goes up to Mount kukuarri (364 m.), from where we enjoy the excellent views. Later on we go down towards the west, an on the first crossroad we take the inland deviation, till we reach the Way of St. James. Once we are on this old path, we cross the A-8 and we arrive to St. Martin chapel and from here we go back to the Old Part of the village.
